Dr. Julia Nagel provides compassionate mobile holistic veterinary care for dogs, cats, and horses throughout Northern Virginia, offering in-home and on-farm acupuncture and chiropractic care in the comfort of your pet’s home. For dogs and cats, she also offers holistic wellness care, as well as gentle in-home euthanasia services throughout Northern Virginia and parts of Washington, DC.
JAN Veterinary Services is an independently owned, local veterinary practice. Dr. Nagel was raised in Fauquier County and is proud to serve pets and their families throughout the community she calls home.

Dr. Nagel takes an individualized, holistic approach to each patient, with a focus on improving comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life. As a mobile, independently owned veterinary practice, JANvet allows dogs, cats, and horses to receive care where they are most comfortable—at home or on the farm.

I grew up in Warrenton, VA with a house full of pets and horseback riding daily. I graduated from Virginia Tech’s vet school and practiced general medicine. Seeing a need for alternative therapy options for our pets, I become certified in multiple modalities: veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic, natural nutrition, and a certified peaceful euthanasia veterinarian. I am honored to help improve the comfort and quality of life of her patients while supporting the families who care for them.
