- Dr. Nagel has availability for house calls in the Arlington & DC area Monday-Thursday, but available days vary week to week.
- Please contact me to set up an appointment!
Appointment:
My appointments are for holistic/TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine). I will take a complete history, perform a comprehensive exam and a TCVM exam. Based upon each individual I will use a combo of acupuncture, chiropractic and/or laser therapies. We will also discuss food and herbal therapies that may help your pet.
An initial appointment will usually take 75-90 minutes. Follow up appointments typically take 45-60 minutes. In the case that someone requests Chiropractic only (no TCVM/Acupuncture) appointments will be shorter (about 30 minutes for the initial, 20 minutes for follow ups).
After the Appointment:
Depending on the age and health status of the pet, they may feel immediately better, or they could be tired for a bit. Some conditions require several treatments before benefits are seen. This is why I recommend an initial 4-6 visits usually 1-2 weeks apart before deciding how it’s helping your pet. After that, we’ll make a long term plan for continued care/maintenance.
